PREAMBLE
IPSF-PERSILAT in compliance with the “Fundamental Principle 6 of the Olympic Charter” as stated “The enjoyment of the rights and freedoms shall be secured without discrimination of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.”
IPSF-PERSILAT is committed to providing a safe environment in sports management and competition, which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity and where the priority is given to the safety and the wellbeing of all participants in the respect for everyone to enjoy its rights.
Condition of Misconduct and abusive can potentially happened in Pencak Siat Padepokan and the National/International training centres where all of the participants are focused in becoming the competition winner, and because of this condition , athletes can facing the excessive training schedule that can results in lack or recovery, higher risk for injury and psychological problems.
This condition can also happened for all the athletes supporting personals and everyone in the sport even management. To fulfilled the commitment and to created SAFE
SPORTS in the Pencak Silat environment, IPSF-PERSILAT has developed a Code of Ethics to protect the fundamental principle, for the federation and the Pencak Silat Martial arts discipline that under IPSF-PERSILAT.
The IPSF-PERSILAT Code of Ethics is developed in accordance and compliance with the principles of the Olympic Movement:
1.1 The IPSF-PERSILAT Code of Ethics focused in three composition with the priority scope are Love, Respect and Protect for all the athletes, national federation, athletes
supporting personals and the management in Pencak Silat Martial Art’s environment.
1.2 The Code applies to all IPSF-PERSILAT Members, The IPSF-PERSILAT management and other organizations that under authority from IPSF-PERSILAT and
other Organization that work together with IPSF-PERSILAT.
1.3 Violations of this Code of Ethics and Conduct shall be subject to enforcement measures, which may include warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the
organization, depending on the severity of the breach.
INTEGRITY IN COMPETITION IPSF PERSILAT adheres to the rules set out in the IOC CODE OF ETHICS.
Article 7 – The Olympic Games are committed to combating all forms of cheating and will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure the integrity of the Competition Commission.
Article 8 – The Olympic Games shall comply with the provisions of the World Anti-Doping Code and the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of Competition Manipulation.
Article 10 – Olympic participants shall not, in any way, manipulate the course or results of a competition, or any part thereof, in a manner that is contrary to the ethics of sport, violates the principles of fair play, or exhibits unsportsmanlike behaviours.
IPSF PERSILAT in implementation the Code of Ethic already give penalty and also banned for the individual who misbehave their manner in Pencak Silat environment , and also for avoid conflict interest, all the referee and Juror have to sign the Non Conflict of Interest agreement as a legal proof if there are misbehave .
