The United States Sport Silat Association (USSSA) serves as the national association for Pencak Silat in the United States. Founded in 2018, the organization has rapidly expanded its presence, now operating across 25 states with more than 30 affiliated perguruans.
USSSA supports a strong and growing community that includes approximately 500 athletes, with a balanced participation of 60% male and 40% female practitioners. The federation is supported by a certified national coaching staff of 10, along with a Wasit/Jury corps of 35–40 officials, ensuring high standards in both training and officiating.
The association was established in accordance with the mandates of the PERSILAT constitution, as well as compliance with the U.S. Center for SafeSport and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) standards. It actively participates in international competitions, including sending a team to the World Pencak Silat Championship 2024.
Through its structured governance, nationwide reach, and commitment to international standards, USSSA continues to play a key role in developing and promoting Pencak Silat across the United States.
