The Pencak Silat Federation of the United Kingdom (PSFUK) is the official national governing body for Pencak Silat in the United Kingdom. The federation was established on 16 September 1994 in London at the Indonesian Embassy, marking a significant step in the development of Pencak Silat in the UK.
The inauguration of PSFUK was conducted under the patronage of Eddy M. Nalapraya, then President of the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT), alongside Joenoes F. Habibie. This founding moment highlighted the strong collaboration between Indonesia and the United Kingdom in promoting the art and sport of Pencak Silat.
Since its establishment, PSFUK has developed a growing competitive and technical structure. The federation currently supports a team of 10 adult national athletes and has produced internationally recognized officials, including 3 International Wasit Jury members (comprising 1 Class 2 and 2 Class 3 referees), along with 7 National Wasit Jury officials.
Through its continued efforts in athlete development, officiating excellence, and organizational growth, PSFUK plays an important role in advancing Pencak Silat within the United Kingdom and contributing to its presence on the international stage.
