Myanmar Pencak Silat Federation is the official governing body responsible for the promotion and development of Pencak Silat in Myanmar. Established in 1995, the federation has played a key role in building a structured and active Silat community across the country.
The federation operates through a nationwide network of 15 state and division clubs, maintaining an active roster of approximately 1,000 players. This includes around 600 athletes, supported by 40 coaches and 40 referees/jurors, reflecting a strong emphasis on both competitive development and officiating standards.
Through its extensive structure and recognized status under the Myanmar Olympic Committee, the federation continues to promote Pencak Silat at grassroots and elite levels. It is committed to nurturing talent, organizing competitions, and strengthening Myanmar’s participation in regional and international Silat events.
