The Kuwait Pencak Silat Association is an emerging organization responsible for introducing and developing Pencak Silat in Kuwait. Established in September 2023, the association represents a new initiative to expand the sport within the region.
Currently, the association is in its early development phase, with a small but dedicated group of 4 members, all male participants. Efforts are focused on capacity building, including participation in training courses to develop technical knowledge and coaching capabilities.
Although the association has not yet participated in international competitions, it has secured Junior Member status under PERSILAT, marking its entry into the global Pencak Silat community.
With foundational steps in place and ongoing development efforts, the Kuwait Pencak Silat Association aims to grow participation, establish structured training, and represent Kuwait in future regional and international events.
