The Ghana Pencak Silat Federation (GPSF) is the official organization responsible for the promotion and development of Pencak Silat in Ghana. Established on 21 June 2024, the federation represents a new and emerging presence of the sport in West Africa.
Currently, the federation operates with a developing structure that includes 1 affiliated club, 2 coaches, and 15 athletes. As a newly established body, GPSF is focused on building awareness, developing grassroots participation, and creating opportunities for athletes to engage in national and international competitions.
With its recognition as an Associated Member of PERSILAT, the Ghana Pencak Silat Federation is positioned to grow within the global Silat community and contribute to the expansion of the sport across Africa.
