The France Pencak Silat Federation (FPSF) is the official governing body for Pencak Silat in France, established in 2020 following the dissolution of the former federation, AFPS. The creation of FPSF marked a renewed and structured effort to unify and promote Pencak Silat across France, while aligning with international standards and the global Silat community.
FPSF works to develop the sport at both grassroots and competitive levels, supporting affiliated clubs and organizations that actively contribute to the growth of Pencak Silat in the country. The federation brings together a network of practitioners, coaches, referees, and athletes dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage and advancing the sporting excellence of Silat.
Affiliated Clubs & Structure
FPSF currently includes several active member clubs with the following contributions:
- Al Haq – Saint Julien: 2 referees, 2 coaches, 5 athletes
- Pencak Silat KWRI / UNESCO: 2 referees, 1 coach, 1 athlete
- PSHT Ivry: 1 referee, 1 coach, 3 athletes
- Gayung Fatani: 3 referees, 1 coach, 3 athletes
Through these affiliated institutions, the federation maintains a growing base of trained officials and athletes, ensuring the continued development of technical standards and competitive participation.
