About Federation

European Pencak Silat Federation (EPSF) is the official governing body for Pencak Silat across Europe, serving as the regional representative of the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT). As part of the international Silat framework, EPSF ensures that the development and administration of the sport in Europe align with globally recognized standards and practices.

EPSF is responsible for promoting, organizing, and regulating Pencak Silat activities throughout European nations. It works in close collaboration with national federations to conduct continental championships, technical seminars, referee and coaching certifications, and athlete development programs. Through these initiatives, the federation aims to strengthen the competitive structure and expand participation across the region.

Committed to preserving the cultural roots of Pencak Silat while advancing it as a modern competitive sport, EPSF supports a wide spectrum of traditional styles and contemporary disciplines. It fosters values such as discipline, respect, unity, and cultural exchange, creating opportunities for athletes and practitioners to connect at both regional and international levels.

By building a strong network of member nations and promoting excellence in all aspects of the sport, the European Pencak Silat Federation plays a crucial role in enhancing Europe’s presence in global Pencak Silat competitions and contributing to the growth of the worldwide Silat community.
