The 5th SEA Pencak Silat Championship 2026 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 22nd to 29th September 2026. Organized by the Sports Authority of Vietnam and supported by the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT), this prestigious regional championship will bring together top athletes from Southeast Asian nations.
The competition will feature Senior category athletes competing in both Tanding (match) and Seni (artistic) events, showcasing high-level skills, discipline, and the cultural richness of Pencak Silat. With participation from leading SEA countries, the championship serves as a major platform to strengthen regional cooperation and elevate the standard of the sport.
Hosted at the Rach Mieu Sports Complex, the event will include technical meetings, official ceremonies, and six days of intense competition, culminating in medal and closing ceremonies. The championship aims to promote sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and the continued growth of Pencak Silat across Southeast Asia.
