🏆 10th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2026 – Event Description
The 10th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2026 is a prestigious continental sporting event bringing together the finest Pencak Silat athletes from across Asia. Organized by the Sports Authority of Viet Nam and supported by the International Pencak Silat Federation (IPSF–PERSILAT), the championship will take place from 15th to 23rd July 2026 at the Dong Nai Gymnasium, Vietnam.
This championship serves as a major platform to promote excellence, cultural exchange, and sportsmanship within the Asian Pencak Silat community. Athletes aged 17 to 45 years will compete in both Tanding (match/fighting) and Seni (artistic) categories, covering a wide range of weight divisions and artistic disciplines.
The event will feature:
- High-level international competition across 45+ participating Asian nations
- Six days of intense matches and artistic performances
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies along with Medal Ceremonies
- Advanced judging systems including Digital Scoring System (DSS) and Video Assistant Referee (VAR)
Participants will benefit from world-class facilities, organized accommodation, transportation, and halal-certified meals provided by the host nation. The championship will follow the latest Pencak Silat Competition Rules and Regulations (February 2026 version) ensuring fairness and global standards.
Beyond competition, the event highlights Vietnam’s rich culture, hospitality, and sporting excellence, making it a memorable experience for athletes, officials, and spectators alike.
